It’s a french site but you can translate it in english by clicking the brit flag.
Tons of stats are made such as how many earth-moon distance you’ve done, etc.
Better yet: A kickstarter for a novelty mouse with a 2 way mechanical milage counter built in.
I use to wonder how much of a distance I wrote with my pencils back in elementary school.
@ Citrus Rain, I don’t know but The Parker Jotter does about 1350m per cartridge and I use about 3 an academic year!!
haha just because the question is entriguing I’m actually thinking about programming a keylogger like program that would automatically start and counting when scroll is triggered and convert it to a measure of distance :P
A couple of years ago or so, How-To Geek gave us a program to do just that. It was called Mousotron, and I still have it.
Just checked and it’s still there.
I had a program which would track the keystrokes and also the mouse movement.Lost it :(.Will search for it
Moonheart: Look just above your comment. Mousotron does all that, and I’m including keystroke counts.
You might want to try out this little app people ;)
I’m pretty sure that Win95 or Win98 could tell you how many miles you had pushed the mouse around the desk.
