    Thanks. But ever since Google changed their privacy policies (not that they were all that great to begin with) I’ll stick with DuckDuckGo (http://www.duckduckgo.com) for my “googling.”

    Cool. I have seen this type of list before, and use them constantly, but had forgotten about a couple of them. This is one of the reasons that Google is the most used of all the search engines.

    Also point one isn’t 100% true – search is not always case insensitive. Try 50mm in inches and 50MM IN INCHES and clearly they don’t function the same way, especially in Google.

    @dwn: ??- when I tried that, I got the same thing.. but on the topic of calculator, 50 kb in MB returns different results than 50 KB in MB (correctly, since case is used to determine bits from bytes)
    But- calculator is different than search.
