bootlegMIC Is a Tiny But High Quality DIY Microphone
Although bootlegMIC was designed as a way for concert goers to cheaply and cleanly capture bootleg music, it’s a great build for any project that needs an inexpensive but effective microphone.
Courtesy of the crew over at Open Music Labs, the bootlegMIC came about as a side project designed to improve concert music capture. The following video shows a comparison between using the built-in MIC on a cellphone and plugging in bootlegMIC:
