I have some “Bubba’s”….they’re called teenage employees
The worst “Bubbas” I’ve seen were older people. Teenagers generally adapt quite well to new technology.
I couldn’t count on my fingers and toes together how many Bubbas I know.
The problem with idiot proofing is they (whoever “they” are) keep coming up with better idiots.
LadyFitzgerald….normally I would agree with you. The issue I see are the teenagers who try to find ways around the system. At least with the older people (who are still a Bubba in their own right), they don’t purposely try to mess with things. A teenager will mess up your computer and then pretend they didn’t do anything to it. An older person will usually admit it. That way, you can ask them to walk you step by step through what they’ve done (hopefully).
“The biggest mistake people make when trying to make something completely foolproof is to underestimate the ingenuity of complete fools.”
