Morning Routine Is an Alarm Clock Deactivated via Barcode Scan

Android: If you have trouble getting out of bed in the morning, Morning Routine might be just the tool you need–an alarm clock that requires you to scan a barcode to deactivate it.

Similar in concept to alarm clocks which require you to solve a puzzle to shut them down, Morning Routine requires you to get out of bed and scan a barcode/QR code to turn the alarm off. If you’re worried that’s not enough you can even set it up to require a sequence of scans. In addition, you can have the scan(s) open a URL to launch your favorite news site, web radio, or other resource that serves as part of your morning routine.

Morning Routine is free for a limited time, Android only.

    I am so trying this.
Hoping I don’t find a way to be lazy…. or start shutting the phone off…

Not the first of it’s kind. i had found one that required a QR code to turn off it’s alarm…though i took it off my phone and don’t remember it’s name now

One of the few things I really miss about my android is a creative alarm clock. iPhone has lousy alarm apps. If I still had my droid I would be all over this!

That cell phone would be thrown against the window and/or shot within a week, regardless of whether our “Stand your ground” permits it or not.
