    @r, Then I, good sir, am a moron

    I work in a data center. When she rebooted, she should have just not come back online. Too bad they didn’t demonstrate a RAID failure, or a missing MBR. I don’t know how they could have done it, but I’m sure it would have been worth it. Ahhhhh, I used to think working on computers would be fun. Now that I do it for 50-60 hours a week…I like videos like this

    I must also be a moron! HAHAHAHA!

  6. Dano

    Yes, you are both morons. Everyone on the internet is now dumber for having seen it. I award you no points, and may God have mercy on your soul.

    @fuebca6

    …It’s good to accept what you are. However, in this case, I wouldn’t brag too much about the fact.

    @r:

    Humor often is, by definition, “moronic”, since it often takes concepts that are quite complex and either simplifies or expands them into the realm of the ridiculous. Conversely, most people who can get such humor are often smart enough to be quite aware that what they’re laughing at is, in fact, neither reality nor sensible. That requires a fair level of intelligence, generally speaking.

    The sad thing is when someone who is either unable or unwilling to get the joke decides that their inability or unwillingness must be a sign of superiority–then chooses to demean those who can or choose to get it because they’re “not like them.” That usually indicates that the one doing the demeaning feels the need to prove how smart and/or sophisticated they are, relative to those who appear to be different, and it’s invariably and indication (those sometimes well-hidden) of a pretty serious level of personal insecurity.

    Seems like a really lonely way to live one’s life to me. And it sure isn’t very funny.

    …it sure isn’t Kevalin, and perhaps you should seek some counseling or something before the problem gets worse.

    Humor, by definition, isn’t often “moronic”, it’s a cognitive action to provoke laughter and provide amusement. “Moronic” is nothing more than one of countless adjectives to describe a style of humor. You can try to reduce my comment to accommodate your need to argue, but your unimpressive use of syntax & grammar only hinder any point that may want to convey.

    Ok, enough is enough…

    If you like the video then fine, if you do not like it then that is also fine but the arguing stops here…
