Control an Arduino Project with an Android Phone via Bluetooth

We love a good Arduino-based project around here. Now, thanks to this handy guide, it’s easy to add a remote control to the project via Bluetooth and controlled by an Android phone.

Instructable’s user Thomas was looking for a cheap and quick way to add in Bluetooth-based control to his Arduino project.

To that end he used a very inexpensive (less than $10) module to add in Bluetooth capabilities and then whipped up a little code to get the phone talking to his Arduino board. Hit up the link below for the full run down of the process and tips on integrating Bluetooth into your project.

If it can be modded, optimized, repurposed, or torn apart for fun he's interested (and probably already at the workbench taking it apart). You can follow him on if you'd like.
