I’ve always wondered why animated PNG never took off. There is much more potential for optimization, quality, etc. than the older GIF format. But I agree with the video GIF has always been an awesome, simple way for anyone to very quickly create unique and colorful web pages.
Great video!
pales in comparison to Terry Gilliam, let alone the history of the medium.
