Panic Button Saves You from Horrible Music
This light-hearted hack adds on a “Panic” button to a computer functioning as a community jukebox–allowing anyone to slam the button and save themselves from horrible music.
Over at Thinkl33t they explain the impetus for the button:
Ok, bit of explanation first. We have a iMac set up as a ‘democratic jukebox’ at HAC:Manchester. The idea being that anyone can put music on it, and it plays the entire library on shuffle during our hack sessions for a bit of background music.
The problem is, of course, some people have an… odd taste in music, so sometimes the jukebox ends up flipping between Aqua and Cannibal Corpse for ten minutes, and the horror of this was just too much!
Enter the PANIC button.

hell yes!
Communal music collection which play randomly.
Hehehehee… Pony music over-dominates my library. Needs more punk & internet. This would be a nice button though. Even better would be one to play songs that are not in certain playlists for a while.
Pony music gets annoying sometimes… even for bronies.
