Sadly, this isn’t a joke. I see it every day. Why would parents expose children, who can barely tie their shoes, to a social networking site flaunts some of societies worst aspects.
Sorry, I have an 11 year old who is constantly being bombarded by marketing and information telling him he NEEDS to be on Facebook. So, I guess I am one of those parents. You know what would be nice. A facebook alternative for the younger kids. Something kid-safe with access to social networks. Why should the younger generations be left out? They want to chat with friends and family the same as the older crowd.
Funny that people have survived for years without Facebook. When I was a kid we didn’t need a network to be social.
