Whether you’re looking to cover an iPad, Kindle, or other small device, this tutorial shows you how to easily turn an old book into colorful and custom cover.
For this project you’ll need an appropriately sized hard cover book and some packets of the moldable project silicon Sugru. That’s it! You just tear out the guts of the book, reinforce the spine if it needs it, and then (after wrapping the tablet with plastic to protect it during the molding process) you mold the corner points out of Sugru. The longest part of the project is waiting 24 hours for the molded Sugru to fully cure.
