Lame!
As an IT professional, I really enjoyed that video. That’s mentally what it’s like. Just last week, I had a guy that wouldn’t stop trying to open the server room door….
Yeah as an IT Admin. This is what it can feel like.
Client: “Just so ya know my email is not working, neither is my internet”
Me: “Yeah I know, we are working on it as quickly as possible.”
Client: “Well when is it going to be up I need to send my email.”
Me: “It’ll be done faster if you leave me alone!”
Seriously, your IT people know. Don’t bother them, they are working on it.
This is almost exactly how it feels working in IT lol. Before you can get to the server room or data center the users are stopping you in the hallway: “Do you know I can’t get on the internet?” You see me working right?
If this is what it feels like… then you are doing it wrong

Worker: “Erm, Just letting you know the Database is down”
Me: “Oh Ok, ill check it out”
Client: “Well tell me when its up because i have 10 Invoices to process.”
Me: “*Running to Server* NOOOOOOO———–….”
Painfull….Very Painfull.
Its kind of like…..reset ALL the Switches!!!! Reset ALL the Servers!!!!

Really? To goofy! I should remake this video in Lucas format. My light Sabre to get me to the servers and Wookie on guard while I work. Use the force which binds us all together and well…..sometimes the force is not enough. Take the servers apart and construct a deathstar for the escape!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
