Subtlety is apparantly lost you. I suppose you don’t like Doonesbury, Dilbert, etc. What about editorial comics?

The tin can was invented in 1810 but the can opener wasn’t invented until 1858; prior to the advent of the can opener people used hammers and chisels to open cans.
