   My laptop stays beside my bed at night, in between the bed and the end table. It’s out of the way, but always an arms reach away!

   I image no one is making it because they figure out a way to cool it without having to hear a fan all night in your ear. Otherwise , it would be a big time fire hazard.

   Besides, your always flipping the pillow for the cold side, not the whole thing would be warm.

   @GG: if it were a MacBook Air, it would work. The MBA fans only run at around 2,000RPM and are amazingly good at keeping cool. If it were a laptop, wouldn’t it sleep when the lid was closed?

   My tf101 was recently found under my pillow. I have no idea how it got there. It was running just fine.

   @GG & Michael Sammels: What computer? What fan?! Doesn’t anyone own Android/iOS device? And if the answer is no, how about a simple touch screen connected to a HTPC? You know somebody has actually done this…

    I always sleep with my iphone unde my pillow, it’s g eat fo getting those late night co espondances, and so what if it’s cooked the R’s out of my b ain.

    Didn’t someone stick a Peltier device into a pillow years ago, to keep the top side cool? Hmm….
