Wow, that long already? Cut my teeth on one of these, with Jiffy DOS, 1541′s then 128, man I’m old.
I think i will buy one these :) maybe this guy will take microsoft out.
One of my first computers, but the Commodore 128 was great fun to use for developing one’s own programs in BASIC. Only problem with Commodore was the terrible manuals, full of errors!
But a great product, loved it!

So many great times on the C64. I remember buying all my games at Toys R Us. I never did finish Zork I or games like Hackers. I wonder if they make walkthroughs for old games. Happy Birthday Commodore!
I remember that my family got one for Christmas in the 1980s–not sure which year, precisely.
We four kids couldn’t figure out how to do stuff on it, except to play video games (Pac Man and Donkey Kong). The graphics were MUCH better in quality than those on the Atari 2600. They were much more comparable to those on the Atari 5200 Super System.
Got one in the original box like brand new ….. if anyone feels nostalgic.
